The Transcription Company Process
Send us Your Audio or Video Files for Transcription
Once you decide to send us your audio files for transcription, the first thing you’ll need to do is to register a new client. You can locate our new client registration form under the ‘quote’ tab on our main menu. Once you have filled in all of your details you can submit your details to us and then go onto the ‘upload files’ page under the ‘quote’ tab where you can begin uploading your audio or video files to our secure DropBox account.
Are there other ways we can receive your files?
If you’re not sure about uploading your files through our website, there are also other means of sending them to us. We accept files online via other FTP sites or even social media, website or podcast links. We also work with hard copies such as DVD’s, CD’s and USB sticks. If you use audio or video files in the form of a hard copy, simply send us an email or give us a call and we will arrange for someone to be available to receive your delivery, ready for transcription services to begin.
What about Transcription Turnaround Times?
One of the most important aspect of the transcription company process is being able to return documents within client deadlines. We offer a range of transcription turnaround times to suit every requirement. Depending on your urgency, you can choose from a range of service speeds. These start from our urgent 6 hour service, through to our budget offering with a one week turnaround time. If you choose to go with our 6 hour urgent transcription service, please let us know as soon as possible beforehand. That way, we can arrange a suitable transcriptionist to be available and on stand-by.
What about Additional Transcription Services?
In addition to our current transcription services we also offer a range of extra typing services. These include specialist layouts, adding time codes (time-coded transcription), proofreading your copy, editing your documents if required and copy writing. How do I receive my Completed Transcripts
Once we have completed your audio transcripts, you then have a choice for us to either email them directly to you or provide a link to our secure download area. If you use DropBox you can also pick up your completed transcription directly from your shared folder.
Delivery is the final stage of a transcription company process. However, should typing errors occur, we’re always happy to made amendments free of charge if notified within 48 hours of delivery. This additional amendment service is highly dependent on quality of audio. A charge will also apply for changes which are due to changes in the audio file or client specifications.
